Malaga Airport Car Hire Terms & Conditions
Driver AgeThe minimum rental age is 21 years depending on vehicle group. The maximum rental age is 80 years depending on vehicle group.Licence RequirementsDriver must have held a full valid driverīs license for at least 1 year. International driverīs licence is required for non-EU citizens.Customer PaymentBlue Valley Car Hire charge a 10% holding deposit for all vehicles reserved at Alicante and Murcia. The remaining 90% is paid when the car is collected. This deposit is fully refundable if an email cancellation is sent at least 72 hours prior to the vehicle hire start time.Please use this link to make a secure payment via credit card or Paypal when your booking is confirmed. A valid credit card is required for all rental contracts when collecting the rental vehicle (the credit card must be in the name of the hirer). Credit Card types accepted: Visa/Master Card (AMEX incurs a 5% surcharge) RefundsNo credit or refund will be given for unused portion of the rental period.Deposits are refundable if vehicle cancellation is within 72 hours of collection time. Vehicle CollectionMeet and Greet service at Malaga Airport (we meet you at the main hall in arrivals so no minibus transfer or long queues).Vehicle ReturnVehicle must be returned at the location, time and dates agreed. To extend the rental period a notice of 24 hours is necessary.Collection and Return to a Different Location20 Euros charge. The vehicle can be delivered or collected along the coast within a distance of 150km from Malaga Airport.Out of Hours ChargeA charge of 16 Euros will be applied between 22:00 to 08:00. In case of late arrival due to flight delay this extra will also apply.Return TimeTwo hours grace period.Border RestrictionVehicles are permitted with previous notification to enter to Portugal and Gibraltar only.Fuel PolicyVehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when collected.No charge for petrol when picking up the vehicle. No credit or refund for unused fuel. Car Groups and ModelsAll bookings are confirmed by Group not make/model. Vehicle models are shown as a examples so make and model may vary. In such case we reserve the right to have a vehicle of similar size and specification.Fines and PenaltiesYou are responsible for the cost of any parking fines or other penalties incurred whilst the vehicle is on hire to you e.g. tow away charges or impounding fees. The company will pass the full charge on to you plus any administrative expenses.Additional DriversThe contract is supplied with the main driver plus one more free driver (name added to contract on arrival). For any extra drivers (above 2) a charge of 8 Euros is applied for the full length of the rental.What's Included in Your RentalMileage: Unlimited mileage.Roadside Assistance: 24 hours assistance is provide by an international recovery company. Taxes: Your booking includes all local taxes. Airport delivery: Free of charge between 08:00 to 22:00. Third party, fire & theft insurance. NOTE: Any accident or incident must be reported within 24 hours. What's Not Included in Your RentalCDW (Collision Damage Waiver) InsuranceInadequate refueling and costs involved. Damaged upholstery (stains, cigarette burns). Lost or damaged car keys. Loss of personal items. Damage to interior of car. Optional ExtrasCDW (CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) Insurance (covers the excess figure for rental vehicle damage/theft)The CDW excess figures are: Baby Seats can be booked at 2.5 Euros per day (maximum 35 Euros). Booster Seats can be booked at 2.5 Euros per day (maximum 35 Euros). Roof Racks can be booked at 2 Euros per day (maximum 35 Euros). GPS system navigation can be booked at 6 Euros per day.
